The Pedal Giant Animals project is the culmination of years of creative effort by Stan and Frank. Many of our compositions which had not been recorded held very special places in our hearts, so we have chosen several of our favorites to produce for this collection. There were no guidelines as to genre or content for this labor of love, simply the desire to share some of our music that we felt others would enjoy. From acoustic instrumentals to full blown progressive arrangements, this journey through our work will hopefully reveal some of the other dimensions of our musical personalities. The PGA project provided the foundation for the new band Oblivion Sun. |

Pink Sky ~ Wyatt
I chase the moon, I race the sun Hold my crystal Goblet up, as one With the Eckankars, as they weave through stars Mystic travelers on a stream of light Flowing joy flight through the night.
Hue; the color, and the sound In eleven worlds, The planes surround all our eyes can see.
This material world, we wear like feathered cloaks Beating hard against the mirrors and the smoke As we learn to fly
Anon, anon, and on and on… Cracking castles with our songs, Dismantling things as must be done To be free of them Anon anon, and on and on.
Up on the hill, I saw a cross Couldn’t decide to be on or off So I turned the pages I could find Read great mysteries, studied rhymes, Questions, dares, and lyric briefs Never finding my relief. If it’s dreams we want, then we must sleep… We weave the Pink Sky… It’s morning’s lie… As we wake.
Hearts melt…it’s true But there’s hate inside of us, too. Dreams mate with truth In the garden…in the roots. In me and you... Some hidden road to walk.
Clearly we are meant to ask And to answer at the last What are we about? The largest "Why?" When our flesh is shed… Put our cares to bed… With our arrogance. The poet knows his words are sly And Karma pays us, we can’t hide .... To dream the dreams, to go inside The Pink Sky

LOVE ~ Wyatt
Love . . . I sat in your favorite place today With a Cheshire cat smile, I counted the clouds in the sky Love . . . I search for the words I want to say In my garden of thought they just go sailing away
Love . . . they put up some posters today With a bright yellow flower and black letters that say
“Come to our circus, come see the jugglers’ spheres dance You’ll have a great time watching the acrobats dare chance”
So I bought us some tickets at a corner newsstand When I got on the subway they were still in my hand It’s a funny thing how life seems to have its own plan Should I show them to you today? Should I just hide them away?
Love . . . they’re rigging the sailboats at the shore Laughing with the seagulls as the rain begins to pour But love . . . it doesn’t matter anyway The wind is full of spirit and it promises to stay
Love . . . the stars bloomed tonight when the moon went astray Playing hide and seek shyly with the clouds over the bay And the great space between them doesn’t seem so very far As I pilot my spaceship, knowing it’s really just a car
So I head up the highway leaving the waves and the sand I know you’ll be waiting . . . wondering where I am It’s a funny thing how life seems to have its own plan Should I call you to say I’m on the way? Surprise you with flowers and say . . .
Love . . . you fill up my heart with your smile Love . . . let’s go to the circus for awhile Love . . . let’s sail with rain in our eyes Love . . . come ride in my spaceship to the sky Love . . .

Pedal Giant Animals ~ Wyatt {BN}
“My name is Bali-Nahoo... and I ride the giant Lion. It is an honor and a
thrill to move upon the world this way. When I Climb into the saddle and I
pedal, it starts the engines of the day. My people have a great design...
We've built a world where we can play… Crystal domed cities, with pathways
high up in the sky... traveling the "Are-Ways", to the Pyramid that holds
the Sacred Eye. I had a dream in the night and Dr. Wu was there with me.
There was a light up in the sky... I could touch it with my hand if I held
it up high. He told me three things are freely given, and two others must
be sought. One gift is the Yellow Court Canon, a Dao story that weaves
thought. So I ride looking for my dream... my fellow travelers all around
me. In the Pyramid the Puzzle Master hides the pieces; complicates the
Play... ”
